Urban Metal Installations (UMI) fabricates and installs custom wood-and-steel site benches using Thermory, Accoya, and Ipe — thermally-modified and naturally durable wood species suited to outdoor and rooftop installations. Frames are built in-house in mild steel or stainless steel and finished to match the project.
Yes. UMI works from architect drawings, engineering sets, or a rough sketch, and can develop CAD models and fabrication-ready shop drawings in-house — coordinating directly with architects and designers from concept through final detail before anything gets cut.
